2017 In Review: LA Fashion Platforms That Define LA Style

As we are saying “farewell” to 2017, it is time to review the best of LA fashion events.

There are several platforms that define LA Style and Fashion.

One of them is Metropolitan Fashion Week.

Metropolitan is the only fashion week in the world that features both Fashion Designers and Costume Designers, from around the world, on one runway. MFW spotlights works of art created by international fashion and costume designers and are original “one-of-a-kind” creations.

Art Hearts Fashion Week

As a voice for artistic and cutting edge designers, Art Hearts Fashion is paving the way toward the future of Fashion Week. Art Hearts Fashion’s philanthropic drive stretches internationally, putting the spotlight on how fashion can promote constructive ideas and influence the progressive evolution of the fashion industry. The platform is proud to raise awareness for organizations including: Aids Healthcare Foundation, Project Cancerland, Make A Wish Foundation, Wednesday’s Child, Children’s Hospital LA, & Women’s Cancer Research Foundation.

LA Swim Week

LA Swim Week is one of a kind swim runway show that takes place once a year. If you can’t attend Miami Fashion Week, you can still learn about the hottest summer trends here.

Style Fashion Week

“The 9PM shows opened with an extravagant collection by David Tupaz. The designs drew inspiration from ancient Imperial dynasties of the Ming and the Qing dynasty, periods of history that exuded lavish ostentation, where women became powerful and were viewed as living works of art. David Tupaz successfully recreated the essence of the style for the present day”.
