As the Holidays Nears, Suicides Go Up
(Houston, TX) – Author Cheron K. Griffin knows that suicide is a national public health issue in the U.S.A, so she wrote the book, I SEE YOU: Igniting Hope & Preventing Suicide using emojis, hoping it would be easier to look at pictures versus reading a bunch of words when suicide thoughts are heavy on the mind.
The holidays are approaching, suicide is a topic that most people would prefer to avoid, however it’s happening all around us and there is no better time than now.
Suicide is no respecter of person; more children are committing suicide due to bullying and other ills of society. Adults are committing suicide due to the pressures of life such as finances, family pressure, workplace bullying, mental health, and other reasons. I SEE YOU was created with emojis that we all can relate to. It’s for children, youth, those in the military, the LBGTQ community, the elderly, and everyday people. The moral of I SEE YOU is to reiterate to every reader is “I see you and you are loved.” The “I SEE YOU” campaign sole purpose is to spread happiness.
Suicide is rarely caused by a single factor. Although suicide prevention efforts largely focus on identifying and providing treatment for people with mental health conditions, there are many additional opportunities for prevention.
A movement by Grow A Girls Network Inc., her entrepreneurial brainchild, to delve into the lives of suicide victims’ families and dredge-up efficacious methods to keep suicide-oriented thoughts at bay.
Cheron K. Griffin has propelled into existence her suicide prevention campaign “I See You”. This book was written for people whose depression has left them feeling unloved and hopeless. Throughout the text, the narrator tells the reader, “You are seen and loved.” Written with the help of emojis, the book provides comfort for people feeling lonely, different, or broken-hearted. When the struggles on the inside seem insurmountable, it is okay to seek out help from a therapist, loved one, or spiritual leader. The book ends with a warning that if their depression has left them in an emergency, it is important to call for help, the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is provided along with a reminder to the reader that they are loved and seen.”

Griffin has composed a song, entitled I See You Freedom Chant and is working on a film script.

The Official Emmy Awards Giving Suite Supports the Television Academy Foundation
September 21, 2019, Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, CA
For the whole week Hollywood was celebrating the Emmys with countless events and parties. We chose the best one to attend, the Official Backstage Giving Suite produced by Backstage Creations and its President Karen Wood. Karen is a pioneer of gift suites working in this business since 1990s.
The Suite was located backstage at the Microsoft Theater during Emmy Awards celebration on September 21 and 22. Hollywood stars like Angela Bassett, Viola Davis, Michael Douglas, Bradley Whitford, and the Game of Thrones actors were invited to help raise $150,000 for The Television Academy Foundation to support its students. Actors, who were provided gift bags, signed the items that were later auctioned by the Foundation.
HGM got the best brands for your Emmys consideration:
If you are all about traveling and having fun, it’s time to go to… Africa! Famous American actor and comedian Tim Allen checked at Kapama Private Game Reserve table. He mentioned his daughter was just talking about wanting to go on a safari. You can learn more information and have a luxury suite reserved at www.kapama.com.

Another sponsor, Four Seasons Resort Nevis fourseasons.com/nevis got attention of Niecy Nash and Sherri Shepherd, “We have been talking about doing a girl’s trip! This is perfect!”

Young beauty Kathryn Newton fell in love with Dolby Laboratories headphones: “I live in headphones! These will be amazing!” . You have to check this one-of-a kind product at products.dolby.com/dimension. Other celebs like Adam DeVine were noticed enjoying alcoholic beverages by Status Sparkling Wines. “This is great!’, – said Adam. Hollywood star Kathryn Newton admitted, “My status is A+.” We suggest to toast to the Emmy Awards winners with a nice bottle of sparkling wine seen at www.drinkstatus.com.

I would also recognize a new digital printer presented by KODAK kodakphotoplus.com/products/kodak-smile-instant-digital-printer. The printer connects to the free, KODAK SMILE app and is easy to use. Last year winner Regina King said about it, “This is amazing! And so smart. It will make such a wonderful Christmas present.”

I couldn’t resist trying Leaff chocolate dipped Belgian waffles presented by Leaff Waffles (leaffwaffles.com). The tradition of Belgian waffles goes back to the 9th century.
It is no surprise that the Emmy presenter Viola Davis said, “I want to have them all!” and Black-ish star Anthony Anderson mentioned, “I want these to be served at my set.” We definitely say “yes” to this European tradition.
